“I'm the best there is at what I do. But what I do best isn't very nice.” In the entire history of Marvel comics you'd be hard-pressed to find an opening line that sums up the main protagonist so perfectly. Or one that sounds even a tenth as cool. Wolverine is one of those rare comics where the artist and writer have such a perfect shared vision of what the story should be, that the end result is nothing less than magical. There is no doubt that Claremont and Miller are at the very top of their game and each page is a joy to behold.
