These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "the Conditions") are in relation to your use of the Order Services provided through the www.bigandlittlecrochet.com (Hereinafter the "Site") website as defined below. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Order Service. If you do not agree with these Conditions, please do not continue to use this website.
"Contract" means a contract made under these Conditions for the purchase of an Issue or for a Subscription; "Issue" means a single issue of Big and Little Crochet, which Hachette will supply in accordance with these Conditions; "Subscription" means a subscription to Big and Little Crochet, as described on the Site, which Hachette will supply in accordance with these Conditions; "Hachette" means Hachette Partworks Limited about whom additional information is set out on the "Contact Us" page of the Site.
By placing an order for an Issue or Subscription you are agreeing to accept these Conditions and any specific conditions applicable to Big and Little Crochet set out elsewhere on this Site. These Conditions, together with any other term set out elsewhere on this Site will govern and be incorporated in every Contract for the sale of Big and Little Crochet entered into between Hachette and you.
Orders can be either for individual Issues or Subscriptions as available on the Site. You can manage your orders through the www.hachettepartworks.com Site. Your order is submitted for the approval of Hachette. If approved, your order will be processed. Orders will not be accepted from anyone under 18 years except with a parent's or guardian's authorisation. You are responsible for all uses of your account. It is therefore important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your account and to your computer. Please ensure that you have signed off when you stop using a shared computer
If you are not satisfied with a dispatch, you have the right to return it within 14 (fourteen) days from the day you received it. To exercise this right, simply inform us of your decision by email, telephone, or by sending us the ? model withdrawal form available here. You may send us back the dispatch, at your own cost, without giving any reason and without any penalty. The dispatch must be returned, sealed, with the invoice, to the following address: Big & Little Crochet Woodland Group, Coventry Business Park, Toledo Close, Coventry, CV5 6UN. Once we have received your returned dispatch and it has been processed we will arrange a refund of the total cost of the particular dispatch – please be aware that the refund can take up to 14 days to appear back in your bank account. If we do not receive the dispatch, we may arrange to have it collected at your cost. We reserve the right to charge you for any returned dispatch which is not in its original condition. If you keep a dispatch for more than 14 calendar days from the date that you receive it then you shall be deemed to have accepted that dispatch. You are free to cancel your Subscription at any time without giving us any reason, simply by writing or calling us. All the free received gifts are yours to keep.
The price for an Issue or Subscription will be the price displayed on the Site. Unless stated otherwise, all prices displayed on the Site are inclusive of charges for packaging and delivery within the UK and Republic of Ireland, and any applicable value added tax and any other sales taxes.
You can pay by any of the methods set out on the Site, including Cheque, Visa Debit and Credit, MasterCard, Paypal and Direct Debit. For Subscriptions, Hachette will retain payment details to take payment when monies are due. We reserve the right to contact you to request an alternative method of payment if our records indicate that the card chosen is about to expire during the Subscription. For one-off purchases of Issues, Hachette does not keep any payment details after the monies have been received. We reserve the right to use a debt collection agency to collect payments that are not paid when due. In such case, Hachette can charge a flat fee of transfer to the debt collection agency.
Hachette endeavours to deliver the Issues promptly and at the frequency specified on the site. Dispatch will be sent using Royal Mail. However, Hachette is not liable for any delay in delivery howsoever caused.
If you notify Hachette (in accordance with Article 10) of any valid claim in respect of any Issue which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of such issue or any product supplied with it, Hachette shall at your option either replace the relevant issue free of charge or refund the issue. Should Hachette be unable to supply you with issues due to circumstances beyond its control, Hachette will notify you of such circumstances and if those circumstances continue for a period of 3 months either you or Hachette may terminate the order for the Issue or (as appropriate) the Subscription immediately. Any advance payments made by you for Issues not delivered by the date of termination will be refunded. Hachette will not be responsible for any loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure or any indirect or consequential loss or business loses. Hachette limits its liability regarding use of its website in the Website Copyright and Liability Notice. Nothing in these Conditions will affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or poorly described goods.
Hachette may cancel any Subscription at any time in writing if you break any of your obligations in these Conditions including paying for your Subscription.
Any notice required or permitted to be given either by you to Hachette or by Hachette to you under these Conditions will be in writing. A notice addressed to Hachette will be sent to its Customer Centre as shown on the "Contact Us" page on the Site. Any notice to be sent to you will be sent to the address for delivery of the Partworks specified in your order. Hachette will try and solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. Any disputes arising in connection with any Contract of these Conditions shall be governed by English law. Direct Marketing Association Hachette Partworks is a member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and follows the DM Code of Practice (DM Code).
If you have missed an issue or you would like to order a specific issue? You have two options: you can ask your newsagent to order it or you can order it from us directly: Either on the www.hachettepartworks.com or by calling the Customer Service Hotline on 03448 927209 (local rates apply). We will send your issue once payment has been authorised.
General terms: you must pay for your purchase when ordering. Methods of payment: you can pay via Cheque, Visa Debit or Credit, Mastercard or Paypal. Postage and Packaging: delivery charges will be added when you place your order.
You can choose to pay for your subscription via Direct Debit: Your Direct Debit payment is subject to safeguards assured by the Direct Debit Guarantee. If you subscribe using Direct Debit you will be sent a full Direct Debit schedule for the entire collection along with your first dispatch. The amount to be paid will recur automatically every month, 14 days before sending your dispatch. It is easy and you don't have to worry anymore about sending your payment. You are free to cancel your Subscription at any time without giving us any reason, simply by writing or calling us and it will stop your monthly Direct Debit payments. All the free received gifts are yours to keep. You will not owe any money for any dispatch not yet delivered as at the cancellation date.
